23 Reviews and one Featured artist this month has been busy building up a good portal for all the eager music fans out there. Having delighted some and given other food for thought I'm always pleased to hear your feedback to the content. Whilst trying not to let poor recording quality ruin a review I have been trying to stay as impartial with my own tastes as possible. Seems to be a large folk music scene in Scotland which is always delightful but so far I have only discovered a few that I would say I would have in my cd player for those long journeys down south.
Hoping to expand the merchandising side and sell the artists work where ever possible so they can keep turning out the records that we all enjoy. If you are interested in selling your music through the site then just drop me a line and Im happy to put up a link. Also would love any bands to link to the site and drive up the traffic, this not only helps yourselves promote through independant reviews but it also helps others who may not have the established fan base some bands do.

Rider of Rebus star Paul McNally forms new adventure entitled "The former Presenters" whilst still a work in progress this is sure to be a strong Scottish influence on the Manchester gig circuit. Having previously been founder of "Then Came Music" and "Riders of Rebus" Paul knows the industry well from the highs of Forth Radio talent winners to the lows of a slipping microphone at the amnesty gig in the Bongo Club after a 7 hour bus ride. More information will follow and as soon as I get my hands on any output you will too!
Chas and Neil the genius from lightyear are playing the Brighton Hobgoblin on Sunday. Given that Neil will be departing the UK forever I would suggest you jump in the car and blag Monday off work, these guys are like nothing else I have ever seen and if I had the bus fare and wasn´t scared of hitch-hiking I´d be there.

Welcome everyone to the first hot news article, it´s been a crazy 10 days and after a technical meltdown I´m officially back to writing. Hopefully the content has been informative and you´re enjoying discovering all these gems in the Scottish music scene. With over 50 bands and 10 writers contacting me within 48 hours it hit me that there is great hunger around the amateur music scene and lots of people that feel like myself about the machine that runs music at the top. Whilst Tony Wilson was the godfather of music in Manchester and probably one of the most influential music moguls ever I hopefully can be of help to the people of Scotland. Having spent a lot of time researching I have spoken to some interesting people and can tell you there is hope out there for artists, budding musicians and music lovers.
I´d love to hear from local musicians looking to get into the scene even if you don´t have a band there is always ways to get into it. Having listened to a lot of diverse music from Kids club to Thrash metal there has been occasions where I would have laid out the money for an album myself because some of these artists need their music to be heard.
