Dirty Hearts

High energy Glasgow band consisting of members from other defunct bands, their obvious talents shine through on the tracks reviewed here. One to watch with infectious tunes which you´ll want to get your hands on.

Track - Pure Gorgeous

This track kicks off with a Nu Rave style intro before crashing into a dirty riff and cracking bassline. The female vocal kicks in and before you know it, you´re reaching for the download button. This song certainly stands out; this would sound great in a club and there wouldn´t be many people not dancing.

Track - Deactivation

Dirty guitar and keyboard continues into this song and has a sound a reminiscent of the Killers at points but don´t let that put you off - this is a fantastic track. The singer demonstrates her great voice throughout, complimenting a band who sound really strong together and have obvious talent.

Track - Golden Hands

This track kicks off with a banging intro with keyboards coming in shortly after which unfortunately have a slight gameshow sound. This shouldn´t detract from what is a pretty solid song but its not the best track when compared to the others sampled here, sounding like this is their earlier work.
