VinylPuppet will open your eyes to something new, music transcends into every aspect of life it can provoke love, fear, joy and sadness. We want to introduce you to the soundtrack of your life!

This website was generated from a love of music. Having attended hundreds of gigs all across the UK and had many late night debates around how the lyrics of songs can actually be fitted directly to your life I finally decided to bring something to everyone. Growing up towards the death of tapes and having to listen to Whitesnake and Chris DeBurgh booming from different rooms while I sat trying to cut the DJ out of the songs I was taping of the top 40 on a sunday night I soon realised music did something to me.

Currently living in Edinburgh the home of Scottish creativity I have previously lived in Manchester for 5 of the best years of my life. It was in Manchester that I first realised how wrong the music industry is. Two seperate incidents made me intent to have a website which brought the band so close to the fan they can feel their breath. The first was sitting in the Hacienda reunion with a yellow piece of paper which said £1 on it which I had purchased previously in the night, thinking that Tony Wilson would have cried knowing that his vision was being raped by an industry which sole purpose is to remove money from your pocket. The second was on stage at my favourite band Lightyears gig in the Hop and Grape in Manchester. Having chatted briefly to the drummer we were called on stage to sing with them, without hesitation I was suddenly on stage with a band who's records I had spent more time listening to than I had spent sleeping. At this moment I realised bands actually do want to share the music with their fans and the only thing stopping them was this huge industry which had put so much red tape in the way that you would have an easier time speaking to the queen than finding out the address to send a fan letter to the Arctic Monkeys.

I hope you enjoy the site and feedback is not only appreciated, it is expected.
